Mdi.News JAKARTA The Advocate Organization of Bentala Indra Nusantara (BINA) cooperates with the DKI Jakarta Regional Lecturer Communication Forum (FKD) in the context of strengthening legal education and developing young advocate cadres. The agreement was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) which took place at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of DKI Jakarta, South Jakarta, in mid-January 2026. The cooperation document was signed by the Chairman of BINA, Ihsan Firmansyah, SH, and the Chairman of FKD DKI Jakarta, Dr. Andi Fitri Rahmadany, S.IP., M.Tr.IP. The activity was also witnessed by the management of the two organizations, including Secretary General of BINA Chetta Shatia Dwitama, SH, M.H., and Secretary of FKD DKI Jakarta Dr. Ir. Rozikin, I.P.U. This collaboration is focused on the synergy between academics and legal practitioners, especially in supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which includes education, research, and community service. In addition, both parties agreed to encourage the regeneration program of prospective advocates through an approach that integrates theory and practice. The Chairperson of BINA, Ihsan Firmansyah, said the collaboration is expected to strengthen the connection between lecture material and the dynamics of legal practice in the field. "Through this collaboration, we want to open a wider space of collaboration between lecturers and advocates. Hopefully, law students will get a more comprehensive picture of practice, while academics will also get insightful updates from the latest legal practice, "Ihsan said in his official statement.
According to Ihsan, BINA together with FKD DKI Jakarta will prepare a number of programs, including guest lectures by advocates, provision of internships for students, and development of legal clinic activities. The program is designed as part of coaching prospective young advocates to have professional competence and integrity.
